Parking stickers can be obtained at the Shelter Island Town Clerk's Office located at 38 North Ferry Road during the normal business hours of 8am-4pm Monday through Friday.
I LOST MY TRAFFIC TICKET, PARKING TICKET, TOWN SUMMONS OR APPEARANCE TICKET FOR THE SHELTER ISLAND JUSTICE COURT. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
You can report your lost ticket to the Shelter Island Justice Court. You will want to contact them during working hours of 8am-4pm Monday through Friday at (631)749-8989.
I WOULD LIKE TO PAY MY TRAFFIC TICKET/PARKING TICKET IN PERSON. WHERE CAN I DO THIS?
You may pay for your ticket at Shelter Island Justice Court located at 46 North Ferry Road during normal business hours.
CAN I GET FINGERPRINTS TAKEN AT SHELTER ISLAND POLICE HQ FOR MY NEW JOB?
Please contact us to make sure we can take the fingerprints at the time you want them taken. You may reach us directly at (631)749-0600. “Applicant” Fingerprint cards must be filled out before we can take your fingerprints. Also you must have a current and valid form of identification.

Yes. The Kid Care ID program is a free child identification program that provides parents with a packet containing vital information about their child, including medical history, a photograph, fingerprints and safety tips. Please call SIPD HQ to see if your vehicle has been impounded by us. You can reach us at (631)749-0600. Please remember that while your vehicle is located in our impound it will be accruing storage and towing charges that must be paid in full before the vehicle is released.
